Appsflyer Integration Guide

How to Integrate:

1. Choose “mDSP by Affle” under the integrated partners tab

To collaborate with mDSP by Affle as an integrated partner, turn on the toggle for ‘Activate partner’ so that the attribution links and postbacks are activated.

2. Integrations tab:

  • Add the ADVERTISING_ID provided by mDSP by Affle both under “General settings” and under “In-App events settings”
  • Add ADVERTISING_ID in the trackerToken Input text box.
  • Turn ON the toggle for Install view-through attribution
  • Turn ON the toggle for Re-engagement view-through attribution
  • (For iOS apps only) Turn OFF the Toggle for Enable Advanced Privacy (for iOS 14.5+ and later)
  • For Default Postbacks: Select the option as Select “All Media sources” in the “Sending Option” of the “Install” event.
  • In-app Events Postback: Please toggle “on”
  • In-App Events Postback Window: Please set it as “Lifetime”
  • You can add Manually the different events you want to share with mDSP by Affle.
  • In the “Sending Option” of each event, please choose “All media sources, including organic”
  • In the “Send Revenue” of each event, please choose “Values & revenue” where applicable.

3. Attribution Link Tab

  • Turn the Toggle ON for Retargeting setting
  • Please implement the Deep link URL
  • Please set the ‘Re-engagement’ window to 30 days
  • Please set ‘click-through attribution’ on 7 days
  • Please set ‘View-Through Attribution’ on 1 day
  • Please share the Click and View-Through URLs

4. Permissions Tab :

  • AdNetwork Permissions should be Toggled “ON” to provide app access.
  • Permissions: Please toggle all the tabs to “ON”

5. Re-Engagement Attribution Verification:

  • Click on the “App Settings” page under the “Configuration” topic on AppsFlyer.
  • Ensure the View-Through attribution via probabilistic modeling is ON.
  • Ensure the “Re-Engagement Attribution” is ON and the “Minimum Time Between Re-Engagement” conversion is set as None.

AppsFlyer Audiences Integration with mDSP by Affle

To connect an audience to mDSP by Affle:

  • Send a notice to your account manager before sending the Audience.
  • Select the Audience you would like to share with mDSP by Affle.
  • In AppsFlyer, go to Audiences > Connections tab.
  • The list of partners displays: Select “mDSP by Affle”.
  • Select “Add a new connection” and type the API Key provided by mDSP by Affle.
  • Click “Add Connection” / “Save Connection”.
